Yesterday, instead of staying around the house on Facebook all day, my dad and I decided to go off the Mountain to Hickory. This was fun because most of the time when we go off the Mountain it is to Charlotte, or Winston-Salem but today it was Hickory. The weather was hot, 99 degrees, but it did not feel that bad, there were some nice cool winds. We started out by going to Dick's Sporting Goods, we were looking for a sweatshirt for me and a traveling golf bag for when I travel to and from Vermont. We ended up succeeding on the golf bag but not on the sweatshirt. We also went to Valley Hills Mall to shop a little, there we did find a nice Appalachian sweatshirt. Then we went on to the Crawdads Game, it was a great game and the Crawdads did win, it was 11-3. Turning off the West Virgina Power! My dad and I both got white Crawdads shirts. It was a long day.
